Sometimes people share with us who their loved ones were and why they chose a particular creation from our funerary art collection, depending on what is symbolic for them. How touching. It makes these people more “alive” to us and we do our best to pay homage to them.

Gift shop and souvenir shop in the Magdalen Islands

At La Méduse, gifts are all our artisanal glass creations, which are as much a part of the decor of a home as they are in the daily use of our kitchen objects. It is also our jellyfish which fascinate because we do not know how they ended up in a glass ball and because they forever remind us of a visit to the Magdalen Islands. And the memories are those that visitors created as part of our introductory glassblowing workshops, they are also the memories that families have kept of the authentic contact during our guided tours and the sharing of our knowledge with them in a unique atmosphere!
