MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
For glass parts, simply remove dust with warm, soapy water. Our pieces are not made to go in the dishwasher or microwave. This use is at your own risk.
Our lamps preferably require incandescent or LED bulbs.
JEWELRY CARE
Some tips for storing and maintaining sterling silver and stainless steel jewelry:
- Store your jewelry individually in a small plastic or fabric bag.
- Clean your jewelry regularly using a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid chemicals, body products or styling products.
- Avoid damp places (shower, swimming pool or spa, etc.).
Recipe for cleaning jewelry:
- Place aluminum foil in the bottom of a bowl.
- Drop in a tablespoon of salt or baking soda.
- Add hot (almost boiling) water to the bowl.
- Mix to dissolve the baking soda or salt.
- Place the jewelry and cover them with the mixture
- Leave to soak for 5 minutes.
- Rinse with cold water under the tap to remove salt or baking soda.
- Use a soft cloth or microfiber cloth to dry them.
Aluminum foil, baking soda or salt, and boiling water produce a chemical reaction that oxidizes and makes the silver shiny.
CAUTION
For spherical glass pieces, like jellyfish or others, we suggest NOT placing them in direct sunlight, because it may have fire hazards. This use is at your own risk.
