Yes, integrating ashes into custom glass works is entirely possible! At La Méduse, we have also developed an entire collection of funerary art which uses this principle.
It's an elegant, colorful, unique and artistic way to keep a memory of those who have passed away. In addition, for many people, it is also a way to get through grief more easily by having a personalized, artistic and original souvenir to keep with you.
For more than 15 years, our company has specialized in the manufacturing of this type of glass parts. We believe that such unique and elegant creations are a tribute to those who have passed away, as well as an ode to the beauty of life. We draw our inspiration from the beauty of life to immortalize these people we loved so much.
We always work with respect for the ashes of the deceased and we strive to create glass souvenirs to the best of our artisanal know-how and with the experience of more than 20 years of blown glass.
The ashes are integrated during the manufacture of the glass piece, in the workshop. They are trapped between two layers of molten glass, where they are sealed forever. Thus the ashes are an integral part of the glass piece and add a “delicate white cloud” effect. Our creations with ashes are therefore not containers, but small, unique, tailor-made works.
Our Funeral Art collection is available in more than 30 different glass creations which all incorporate ashes (jewelry, urns, animals, plants, etc.). This is a unique offer in Quebec.
And we are always looking for new ideas to continue developing it. If you ever have any suggestions, we are ready to hear them!
